The U.S.S. George Hammond is a Daedalus-class battlecruiser named after General George Hammond of the United States Air Force, and the first commander of Stargate Command and Homeworld Security.
Originally named Phoenix, the ship was renamed in honor of George Hammond after his death, and was launched from Earth in 2009 and has been under the command of Colonel Samantha Carter since it's first date of service, and is part of the Second Tactical Wing.

Ship-Power-Scaling in Stargate is pretty bad. What can defeat what and how much of them was never really clear.
After getting all the Asgard Weapons - can't Humans destroy the Entire Jaffa
Nation just like the Ori could? I mean, they could defeat Ori ships, and
these could not be destroyed by basically Anyone!

Also, what happened to all the Ori Ships after 'Arc of Truth' is a giant Plot Hole
that never got Explained. We need to know, it makes a giant difference
for the Franchise.
Really a huge shame. I discussed their Fate with someone, but he wasnt really smart enough to bring actual Arguments out.
