The king found a seemingly abandoned tomb and wanted to explore it; there was no trespassing or breaking and entering. The only bad thing he did was make twins.

Rapunzel does give birth to twins in the original broadway musical Into the Woods that the movie was based off of

Gaiman's Snow White was traumatising for me, albeit I was already prepared for something shocking (what is more shocking than the Corinthian?!?), but he managed to tell the story in a manner that all pieces fell together suddenly, and I for one find the story's impact unforgettable. Well done for including it *shiver*

How about in the original Snow White it ended with the Evil Queen being tricked into attending Snow White's wedding where the Queen had red hot shoes put on her feet and was forced to dance herself to death? Didn't see that in the Disney version.
