The time commitment is what has always steered me away from the club life. I already have a busy life and being a lone wolf is usually how I roll

Make sure you know what you getting into. Become familiar with the club, members, the mc set, and be sure the club you join matches your personality and interests.

Always had so much respect for clubs. Started reading easy Rider magazine in the early 70s. Just always admired the life style.

Agree with all 5 points. Must important for me not joining a motorcycle club, - I will never protect a "stupid" brother with my life,
because he has done some crazy shit to other people, and they wanna give him a lesson. I've always lived under the morale,
that grown up people are responsible for their own actions and the way they handle their lives!

I definitely agree with your #1 reason. We turned down a group ride 2 weeks after getting our bikes. I'm not going to intentionally put myself in a position to hurt me let alone someone else.

As with anything I believe people have to be real with themselves and understand the "why" behind it. Sadly, people jump out there because it's cool not realizing the risks associated with those decisions.

As always great video and continue to do YOU✌🏾

Another awesome video G Cue. Consider me a “Lone Wolf.” :)

Another reason is a person is heavily involved in church. I’ve always admired the Motorcycle Clubs. But for me, I can’t neglect my wife and kids by being gone a great amount of time. Plus I work and attend church. Involved heavily in weekly bible studies. If it wasn’t for that, I’ll be a Rare Breed for Sure. As always, much Respect Bro. I enjoy the videos. Keep ‘‘em coming. Blessings.

Basically, if you have normal adult responsibilities, a mc is not the route to go.

Thank you for this video my brother. Everything has to be in order. As a new rider myself, I get it with your message. You have to have riding experience and your bike, how to control that bike when things are good on the road as well as when everything is bad on the road. From the video's I've seen these MC are riders and if you ain't ready for speeds that they ride at you'll get left behind or worse make a long trip longer for them. I appreciate this video a lot of things that I and others needed to hear especially for new riders who like seeing the camaraderie with brother who want to be apart of such group. I know I need to get my riding up to par.

I bought my best friend from the Marines a Harley 91 Softail 80" in July of '21. After a lil over a year he was out n about by himself and was overtaken by a group on all types of bikes. It scared the crap out of him!!! Great advice, I was blown away when you said it but you are absolutely correct.

All thing to add...is to make sure the club energy and your energy lot of times we see clubs get commercialized and lose that real brotherhood some clubs lose that initial bonding experience that builds the the fraternity world we call it "going get you a club that upholds the brotherly or sisterly comradery and you findeth a good thing!!! 👍🏾👍🏾 Awesome info bro keep pushing

I’ve just started prospecting for a club. I’ve been riding around 4 years now. I’ve taken part in quite a few club runs in the last 6 months. My riding has improved enormously thanks to that. I have around 6 months left to prospect, then if I’m patched I will have been riding with them for a year. I’m going to as many meetings/runs as I can. I’m a little old perhaps, 63. But I’m enjoying everything. And I have been able to strike a good work/ relationship balance with the Club. I eventually hope to become a 1%er. But I’m not rushing into it. Great video my friend ✊

Lived the club life for 10 years and your reasons are 100% on point. One other I would add is...don't join a club if you are not able to handle it not being about you. Many times it will be about your brothers and you will be last. In other words, check your ego because I've seen a lot of men with all the boxes checked off except their egos and it never worked out. Be humble and true, and if everything else is in line you will spend many years building relationships with your brothers. Even after my time was done, and I stepped away properly, all the men I called Brothers are still in my life and in contact with me.
