Love your enthusiasm Mark . They have gangs in London that target Rolex wearers, if I had one I’d be to afraid to wear it. Although I would still like one. Any suggestions for alternatives?

people can cry all they want about the AD situation, but when you finally get one, there's nothing more special than solid Rolex piece on the wrist. Its not high horology, but its a dang solid watch worth paying a few extra thousand than an Omega that loses 30% of the value when you walk out the door.

People need to stop moaning, grow up and just buy a Rolex. I don't need high horology and fancy movements. I just need a timeless Rolex timepiece that will likely be worth more than i paid for it one day. Best advice is save your money, dont waste it on crap brands and buy a bloody Rolex. The quicker you come to this realisation the quicker you can move on with your life

Great video! Rolex market is still hot. There are still waitlists. That will never change. I wish I could go back to 05 where you walk in and walk out with a sub, explorer maybe a GMT. Glad I bought mine when I did but if I wanted one I would go grey. Life is too short. By the time you get one the watch won’t matter anymore. If you want something without playing games just go grey is what I hear and believe that is correct for those hard to come by models.

Another big downside of Rolex is the amount of counterfeit out there. U cannot tell who is wearing a genuine or a fake Rolex which make the genuine owner feels ‘shameful’ wearing one

The brand name Rolex is quite appealing. I love that ending scene with The Founder with Michael Keaton playing Ray Croc on why he wanted to own and buy McDonalds. It's because of the name. There may be better watches or fancier watches but Rolex will always have the highest brand recognition.
