Guys did you notice when Jothi asked her friend "don't you know to ask permission before while taking someone else thing, later she gave it to her" and vjs took anurag daughter without asking...


Beginning of the movie owner will tell vjs to talk to the customer not to be silent later when anurag comes vjs will talk to him asking questions.... What a continuation...

And while preparing fake dustbin, natty's wife and daughter will come in scooter that one shot will tell natty got a daughter and he does all things for her and when he finds out about nalla sivam, he denied all wow...


After anurag intro he will take a toy from the house and give it to Jothi but she will not take it and he will put in dustbin here director not only trying to show dustbin but Jothi is not like her father...

And everytime audience comes to a conclusion director brilliantly takes a 180 degree turn to show it's the opposite.... from the beginning
naming the character 1.dustbin * Lakshmi
2.police * thief
3.maharaja* barber
4.nalasivam* bad rapist
5.sabari* bad rapist
6.kuzhanthai* big guy gaint
6. Dhana, Selvam * no money thief


Beginning of the movie owner will tell no dog will come to shop but a dog will come we thought it's for the dog but it's not....

And he made us believe it's the present at first but it's the past.... present*past

We all thought barathi Raja owner but he is labour

We thought at intro anurag and sabari was in their house cooking but not


The shoe she wanted was red but he bought blue...

We thought the cops were bad but they are not

Anurag thought Jothi was vjs daughter but not

Everytime vjs said Lakshmi story but it's not it was her daughter story...

And natty will throw him out of station we thought he went but he came back


When he gives bribe he will slap but will actually accept bribe...


Natty intro we thought a thief was stealing but not...

And so many things like that... If we noticed all these things we would have thought ok director is making us to believe it's anurag daughter but actually not and finally only thing didn't change was Jothi is anurag daughter. Jothi(light) name is not because she is light in vjs life


Just imagine this movie in a linear format nothing absolutely zero usual revenge and most of the scene police station would not have been there Lakshmi story will not be there he used non linear brilliantly....


The movie theme is based on contrast of thought.


You know first writing a script in a usual way and again re writing it in opposite and then merge both and shuffle

Maharaja veetukulla oru paambu vandhu pogum. Adhumaari police station la romba naal maranju irundha paambu veliya varum. Adha Maharaja dhaan ambalapaduthuvaan. It symbolizes that a snake that came to his house is there in the police station unnoticed which came to other's notice after he has entered the station.

I'm a music producer who works on film scoring. You guys are right the theme sounds similar anurag kashyaps and VJS, technically its called being in the same Key. Both the songs are in the same key. Great work by the music producer for the film.

Like in the intro, lorry accident appa antha mom and infant sculpture odayum bothu, mom oda face mattum odanjurum aana baby oda face intact ah iruka maari kaatuvanga, tricking us into believing that maharaja's baby is saved.

But during climax of showing the accident when its actually revealed, the baby face also gets broken, meaning both the baby and mom are dead. Amazing one !

14:00 you can also note this in premalu...each and every song has the same flavour of the flute piece ..from welcome to hyderabad to telangana bomalu end piece...thats really wat kept me not to go away from mood of the movie...maybe it just worked for me...but its really a cool thing ..
