As a person from Maharashtra who doesn't know Tamil, I have to say, hands down, "Maharaja" is the best movie of this year. Even though six months are still remaining in the year (as it’s June), I doubt any movie can top this one. The screenplay is excellent, the music is outstanding, and Sethupathi is phenomenal. With each passing minute, you will be shocked by new revelations. This is the best movie of the year!

Just casually went and watched it FDFS, as there were no other movies to watch worth interesting. OMG what an experience, the theatre was in pin drop silence for the last 20 minutes and first fight scene of VS. What an incredible story telling.

Just now watched the movie, there were an old age couple sitting next to me... They started clapping when the daughter says she will over come whatever has happened and will do great things... And climax was so good that everyone started clapping.... This is what Tamil cinema was missing in 2024... Thanks Jammy for this review..m

I went in quite Prejudiced for this film(cause of VJS's previous duds as the hero) But this absolutely blew me away. The story is quite old but the way it was screenplayed was extraordinary. The first half left me with so much questions. And the Interval Block was something else. My Theatre clapped for several scenes in the second half mainly for the "dustbin" burglary enacting scene. To me this is the best film i watched in 2024!. Tamil Cinema is truly back!!💪💪💪

This movie blew my mind away. What a story telling!!! Simple story presented in a very interesting manner. We have our own Christopher Nolan. Direction, Screenplay, Music, editing and VS are excellent!!! A must watch!!! Goosebumps guaranteed...

Finally a banger from Tamil cinema after a long list of okayish and average movies that has come this year. Hope the produce many more movies like this. Also Vjs and Anurag has collaborated before in Imaika Nodigal where Nayanthara as the lead he rocked his role❤️
