I recall Aurangzeb subtly mentioned as the worst mughal emperor from history books whereas Akbar was mentioned as one of the greatest. I read Aurangzeb killed his brothers but the books choose to skip the mughal legacy of brothers fighting for the throne.

Aurangzeb killed 3 of his brother
Ultra right wing - he was evil
Ashoka the great killed his 101 brothers
Same people - what a humble and down to earth leader

You mentioned Guru Teg bahadur only, why not his successor Guru Gobind Singh (his son ) and 4 of his sons ... Out of them 2 were teenagers who were murdered brutally by Aurangzeb ...

Let them try to change history in books, but they cannot change the reality which already took place.

Sir I have a 2 questions
1. Why didn't you explain about re-imposing of jizya tax and imposing extra taxes on non-muslim traders by Aurangzeb
2.If Aurangzed was that good administrator, A perfect statesmen, A great religious being (who liked replacing others religious sites with mosques by going against the quran)then why did his empire started to fall apart after his successfull tenure.

I am from Punjab India after hearing your entire argument i feel that you had glorified him toooo much even from your argument it is proven he was an extremist person though I will say hindu vs muslim propoganda came way later in the conflict but he was no where perfect as u say why was so much revolt in his era
Why did so many revolt against him to the extent he had fled when had 25 percent of the world's wealth and large land under his rule???
Why sikh revolted and when the concept of military and rule did not exist in Sikhism when it started when up to five generations of Sikhs never touched a weapon in their life ???
Was it just to imprison two children not even 10 in the tower with their grandmother and then carving them in the wall alive so this was your just king just trying to rule ?
What he was just a king blindly after more power no matter the cost
It is not about hindu or muslim but there is no dout in my mind about the converges as other wise there is no explanation to large muslim population in India for centuries even before British came we to the date remeber those who were forced to convert but they never covered in our religion text now don't say there were changed by British
To my conclusion most of hate between hindu and muslim today was due to British but this long you glorify was not as just as you say

No doubt he use to try to conviene people to convert into Muslims but if they disagree then he use his power to convert people. Its also written that if people reject his offering of conversions, he sentence them to death.
I would request you read Sikh history you will get to know what he use to do and that not justifies in a form that he followed strict laws.

In 1679 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj protested against Jizya tax, Shivaji Maharaj in a letter to Aurangzeb wrote: I have learnt that because of your wars against me your treasury is exhausted So, you have decreed that Jizya be collected from the Hindus. Your ancestors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jehan could have also levied the Jizya but they rid their hearts of bigotry because they knew all men, high or low, were created by God and they represented various religions. Hence, their prosperity increased and they were successful. In your reign, the army is uneasy, traders unhappy, Muslims cry and Hindus seethe with anger. You have lost many forts and provinces Since I shall not desist from inflicting more devastation you will lose the rest, also!

Opposing and criticising the Hinduism, is
because of the insecurity of these people
towards their religion. But it's the only religion
which speaks of Vashudeva Kutumbakkam. Long
live Sanatan Dharma.

He murdered his REAL Brother(but he was kind to hindus)
He imprisoned his REAL Father (he had his own brand of justice)
He slaughtered a peaceful protesting saint & destroyed 1000s of Temples (it was to preserve his understanding of mughal justice and extend control over India)
But he was not a bigot
May peace be upon him 😂😂😂😂😂

And they say people misunderstood islam

What a just king, even though his brother was going to split Aurangya into parts he just cut off his head and sent it to his imprisoned father as a gift, truly humble👍🙏
