Out of 4 pregnancies to me the best is to get pregnant in the early fall (Aug/Sept) and deliver in late spring, early summer (May/June).

This is very much what I was imagining, but you just confirmed it. I didn't know about the 1st trimester and 2nd trimester stuff so that just makes me feel even more confident.

Love this, my first baby I planned based around my job and gave birth in May, everything was perfect. Second baby I’m due in September, but this summer heat and feeling huge and hotter then usual not loving it. I was one of the lucky ones where I didn’t really experience any pregnancy related symptoms, not even Nassau. I only feel super fatigued all the time but I think it’s because I’m big and the summer heat is contributing. Thank you for also mentioning the 4th trimester I didn’t think about time of year and how that might contribute. Many people don’t talk about it but I think that everyone gets some level of PPD.

I got pregnant in June twice. Had one baby in March and the other in February. It was perfect timing because by the time I was miserably big it had cooled off lol

I’m having Irish twins first baby was born March 13th. Just got a positive test last week so looks like another March baby.... I didn’t plan either out but I’m glad they are both born a good time of year 😊

I have to say, though.... my first two pregnancies were not too bad. They were pretty much identical in progression and symptoms. One was a girl born in the middle of December and the other was a boy born in the middle of summer. You’re correct about morning sickness during the holidays is no fun! On the other end of the spectrum, Thanksgiving in the third trimester was not fun because I couldn’t eat much and had heartburn. You’re also correct that third trimester in summer is definitely not fun! At all! I also agree with you on timing your deductible. My daughter’s original due date was Christmas Eve. But she came two weeks early with a small amniotic leak. I was worried about her being my first and her being late. If that were the case, I potentially could have had her New Year’s Eve.... I’d have been stuck with paying the $4k out of pocket for us that year. And another $4k out of pocket for New Year’s Day. Thankfully, my OB and I had talked previously. We’d agreed to induce her before then to avoid that issue. But my daughter had other ideas. The leak didn’t produce contractions, so I was induced and she was born two weeks before Christmas.

Now.... before getting pregnant with number three, (due 10/05/2020), I had the same mindset you have. I thought I knew what to expect with this pregnancy because of my first two pregnancies. this pregnancy has been completely different than my first two. My morning sickness was worse, smell sensitivity was horrible and I’ve had nearly every crazy pregnancy symptom I’ve never heard of. Sinus issues, varicose veins in my lady bits area and excess saliva among them. So I’d have to disagree with you on knowing what to expect.

Overall, good video, though.

Planning a baby can be very challenging. We attempted to plan the perfect time to have baby due and we had gotten pregnant this past September and sadly lost it.
Few months later in December we were lucky enough to get pregnant again and that lil one seems to be healthy and surviving... but that makes me going though the 3rd trimester in the summer and having this baby during the pandemic. But I wouldn’t change it, being able to carry this baby and hopefully having the baby born healthy and at term is consider perfect for us. Trying to plan a perfect pregnancy and not having it turn out the way you want is depressing but just being happy when it happens is what’s important for us.

Great information. My second baby was plan sort of. I was aiming to get pregnant toward the end of July or somewhere in August. But I got pregnant between end of June and early July so my daughter was born at the end of March during the pandemic of COVID-19. 🤦🏻‍♀️ With the information you shared I can definitely plan baby number 3 a lot better. Thanks ❤️

Yes, me either. I tried to avoid medicine at all cost. Oh, and I suffered from sciatica.

1st pregnancy was easier, was due in Feb... 2nd is harder with a toddler to run around after.. I guess you get tired with time, cuz you don't really have the same stamina... 29 weeks and exhausted 😥
