I am a 49er fan that goes back to the 1982 Super Bowl win after Joe Montana came off the bench to take over as the starting quarterback in 1980 when Steve Deberg who started out that season looking very good ended up a disaster. Montana became the starting quarterback in 1981 and actually led the team to that first Super Bowl win in 1982. Then he failed to get into the playoffs the following year and was almost traded. I tell this story of Joe Montana because no one knows how good a quarterback will be during his first few seasons in the NFL. Montana's up and down seasons with the 49ers prove that no quarterback is going to be a success every season.

Brock Purdy was not supposed to win 8 games in a row as a rookie quarterback but the whole team was together by the time Jimmy got injured again after winning a few games last season. They all played very good football but that is a rarity in the NFL so to rely on Brock Purdy to have that kind of success every year from now is what a fool believes.

It would be awesome if Brock Purdy could win every game for the rest of his life and he will be expected to by these Trey Lance hating fans who don't even want Trey Lance on the team. I see these 49er fans as fools and absolutely the most disgusting fans I have ever witnessed. A good fan will continue to support the team no matter if they win or lose.

Here is one more point, and most ain't gonna like it. But half the fans that "want to see what trey has" only wants that because trey is a black man. Lance had multiple chances to show out, hasn't done it yet. And why is purdys ceiling not high... because he already plays like a proven professional. Not sorry if my opinion pissed you off.

Coming into a difficult situation close to playoff time beating playoff teams, then winning in the playoffs in what some have said is a difficult Shanahan system. If Lance was as good as Purdy, he would’ve came in just as hot, but he didn’t.

Brock comes in is the highest rated QB in the league to end the year and the team is the number 1 offense to end the year.. easy choice here.. What Brock has upstairs cant be taught he is fearless, smart, competitive, and also.. tried to push the ball down the field. I mean the first game against the Dolphins i was already damn near sold... he hit Kittle on a 3rd and 11 with a perfect dart as he was getting crushed by a free rusher... which is something that cant be taught.
