I’ve never watched him. I can’t stand him. I always thought he is a fraud.

"talking about sustainability on a dairy farm is like talking about gambling awareness at Caesar's Palace" lmfao

3:15 "95% of farms are family owned" of course someone owns the farm and they have a family, did I miss something? 😂

A Dutch animal charity has a great applicable slogan which translates to:

Protect the animals against the beasts.

Ugh, when people with the power to change things make things worse. It’s so gross.

I've stayed away from talking about my time at Beast. I've chosen not to ride the trend of coming out as an ex-employee with a tell-all video. And I haven't commented about it on any commentary videos about him. This is the one single video where I will share that I worked there. And I hated his cringe hypocritical dairy ads. I refused to work on them or anything else related to Beast Burger. There were only 2, maybe 3 other vegans in the whole company. Glad you're talking about this, Ed. His stance on animals has always to me been an early marker of how authentic the philanthropic image is.

What I found interesting about Mr. Beast was that he rescued a bunch of dogs then talked about eating chicken to help him loose weight? But he isn’t an anomaly because people that are not vegan picks and choose with animals deserve their life and which deserves to got into their gut. Being vegan you just respect everyone’s anatomy.

Veganism isn't a lifestyle, it's the ethical principle that human should live without exploiting other animals.

The statement "95% of dairy farms are family owned" is very craftily misleading. If one industrial conglomerate owns 20% of the dairy market they still only count as 1 farm technically because it's 1 entity. So 95% of dairy comes from factory farms but also 95% of dairy farms are "family owned". Also there are some rich families that own massive amounts of farmland further complicating the statement.

Animal agriculture uses 83% of farmland and only provides 18% of calories. When we switch to a plant based food system, we can restore/reforest 76% of farmland AND be able to feed everyone. -J. Poore, Oxford, journal Science

I live next to a small, “high welfare”, family owned (4th generation) farm in Cornwall and from personal experience I know there is nothing ethical, sustainable or high welfare about it. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve cried over the “normal” everyday things that happen here, not least, when the calves are taken away and the weeks of bellowing that ensues. Mother cows will break through enclosures and gates in search of their stolen calves. It’s one of the most heart-wrenching things I’ve ever witnessed and heard. I highly doubt that many people who sign up to marketing campaigns for meat/dairy/egg products have ever stepped foot on a farm - let alone witnessed and listened to what animals go through on a farm in an average week.

Man, can you imagine the major impact on the world Mr. Beast could have if he promoted veganism? That would single-handedly set a new course for humanity and animals.

The meat paradox refers to a state, where one cares for and yet harms other animals. Research shows it is caused and maintained particularly by six factors: Cognitive dissonance, dissociation, strategic ignorance, hedonism, custom, and marginalization of empathy.

I mean the guy killed a fish on camera for entertainment, I don't think he's an animal lover who just needs to be made aware, he simply doesn't take issue with animal suffering.

Also Mr Beast has a chocolate brand called Feastables that used to have plenty of vegan options. Later when he announced the new Feastables we noticed everything has dairy with no vegan options. We used to buy it but not anymore.
