All this time I had no idea that position 1 of the major pentatonic was position 2 of the minor pentatonic scale, thanks for the clear explanation!

I've been a casual player for over 25 years but could never wrap my head around scales. This video has finally made the concept hit home. I like the table of contents time markers to bring me to the next position. What I found especially helpful in this demonstration was how you bring the scales back down finishing out with the root chord. Thanks for the video. Nice work. Subscribed.

FYI

When playing the positions and learning them it helps to go up 1 position move to the next and descend in that position... probably the best tip I can give when learning box patterns as after to learn them this way yo will be connecting the patterns across multiple strings with absolutely no thought and have it be essentially instinctual.

After watching this video I watched your video on the major scales. Wow. These are without a doubt the best videos I’ve ever seen on scales. Thank you so much for everything. I can’t describe how much this has taught me now.

Great Lesson! Totally locked this in for me. Had my minor positions wired already. So the 1st position of Gmajor Pentatonic is the same pattern as Eminor 2nd position and so on....

Definitely subscribing. I really enjoy the way you break everything down. You go slow enough that I can understand.

Thanks. I like your guitar. Great tone. I was SO glad to hear a clean tone and not a distortion noise.
Well done. I will be watching.

Thanks for the table of contents at the beginning! Super helpful.

I found that a major pentatonic scale fits within a lydian overtone scale and it sounds hilariously awkward to jam with, while a lydian riff repeats for the rhythm track.

JJ good job on your tutorial, I never comment but I did today, the reason why is I would like to thank you or not blasting into some obnoxious riffs in an attempt to impress everybody. Very refreshing compared to what is typically seen on YouTube straight to the point great job. PS I actually subscribed which is another thing I really don't do, looking forward to seeing what else you got out there thank you again

JJ...You're doing a good job showing where to find the notes. But it might be less confusing for some if you show the right pattern for each position. cheers.
