I would play this album over and over. I've been a fan since he was with Genius.

Peter Gabriel is brilliant. This is one of the very few albums in history that has a great song for every track. It holds up well over time also.

Surrey, 1975: Peter Gabriel left the original Genesis (co-founder in 1967). Meanwhile, he solves his problems by cultivating his garden and pampering his little girl Melanie (good vocal today). After a long break, he records his first solo album, in Canada, in 1977, with some American great musicians. He releases very different titles from each other, including the nostalgic folk song "Solsbury Hill" and the deep and beautiful slow "Here comes the Flood". Then, he releases experimental albums with Robert Fripp (ex-King Crimson) including "Games without Frontiers" in duet with Kate Bush. Then, Peter Gabriel becomes famous in developing innovative and attractive shows each time, cause Peter Gabriel is perhaps the best showman in the rock world.

Purchased this album new in the day and played the heck out of it. Interesting fact this album was EDDIE VAN HALENS favorite album as well as his son, if infact true that's quite impressive fact in itself.

The songs speak for themselves as great music. Add to that the assemblage of musicians on this album has to be one of the best ever assembled. Then to raise the bar the production on the album is extremely good (listen with good headphones and you can hear every note clearly). This is an album that rank really high in quality from start to finish in all aspects and has been a favorite of mine for for the better part of 30 years. This is an album I come back to frequently, and is a key component to the soundtrack of my life with emotions and memories attached to different songs.

Fantastic album that is still fresh here in 2023. My first memory of this album is that I was on holiday by the Corinth Canal and heard this album on a walkman. So it's full of warm, sunshine and holliday for me....

Brilliant album from Peter Gabriel, I have very fond memories of this album growing up. My uncle Owen (RIP ) had this on CD, I always borrowed this regularly, until I bought my own copy and listened to it non stop.
