For me at the 2nd example is that you could use the foil method
Foil method stands for
First terms
Outer terms
Inner terms
Last terms

Hey so I have a question :) Hope you can answer!
at 4:38 you find out that x = -2. But I though - + - = + and that: + and + = +. You know? so why is the answer not x = 2. I know Im wrong but a "rule" would be helpful! :)

at 49 why are those considered like terms?
