AHHHH! I didn't know what I was doing in high school. I was plugging in numbers, and it was usually correct, I passed, but why was I plugging in those numbers? Why? WHY? WHY!!!? I didn't know. Now I know!! Thanks! 20 years of confusion cleared up in a 20 minute video! I also second Guido Feliz's suggestion, write a book. You have a good teaching quality.

I always use matrices when I solve first-order linear equations.
Just plug the coefficients for x and y along with the constant into an augmented matrix on a calculator and use the RREF command on everything, and you get all the solutions at once, lol.
