Aw, so beautiful! I'm tearing up. I'm so happy he got a wonderful home and a flock of his own! I had 6 chickens when I adopted a lone hen who had been rejected by her flock and the folks were giving her away free. Sadly mine rejected her too so I kept her as an indoor/outdoor pet. She'd come when called and followed me everywhere. I bought some chicks of her own kind a few months later to raise with her. Sadly, she passed away 3 months after that. No idea how old she was but it broke my heart she didn't get to see the day of having her own chicken flock. Still, her human flock loved her very much.

Great couple. I got my first pet chickens age 5. They made great playmates for an only child. They are beautiful, loving and smart. Roosters are so attentive to their ladies. They find them food and let them eat first. So glad you took this boy and have provided him with such a wonderful life.
