Whether it be a handheld, two stroke, two cycle engine like a chainsaw, weed eater, weed wacker, string trimmer, grass trimmer, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, strimmer, brush cutter, leaf blower, or four stroke, four cycle units like a lawnmower, wood splitter, lawn tractor, zero turn mower, snowblower, pressure washer, generator or a ride on mower that needs parts installed or replaced, I’m your go-to guy.

My favorite brands of spark plugs are NGK and Champion and are the ones I recommend.

While you've got that grease gun out, spread some on the steering sector gear. The steering gears are another thing you don't want to have to replace.

Good points DB73, Leave no grease fittings ungreased. As long as the grease gun is out anyway 👍

I like the act that you can lift the tractor/mower up like that..any chance showing your lifting device or maybe drop a link to iti you already did one please?
I just adjusted valve lash on my Craftsman YS4500 B&S 21HP Intek v-twin this afternoon...irst time since I bought it (X years ago)...only out a little...amazing how it isn't having a hard time rolling over now...lol.
I am also having an issue with the steering...WAY to much end play in the steering shaft...what a stupid setup...they are relying on a small ipn to hold the pinion gear on the end of the steering shaft to stay up so it will fully egage the gear on the front end...no adjustment (that I can see) anywhere. I am thinking of adding a thick washer...errr...shim under the pin to lift the pinion back into a position that it can mesh with the arched rack. Well see how that works...can't be much worse than it is now...I hope.
Cheers from NB.

Don I thought it was you who said the grease fittings on the front axles don’t matter cause they’re sealed bearings and the grease doesn’t get in there anyways?

Just greased my JD last week and missed that one. I've made a note to hit it tomorrow. Will probably take several shots as I don't think I ever saw that one before.

My old Cub (IH) 1450 has a grease fitting in the front axle for same reason - greasing the axle pin. I never even noticed it till I had to replace the pin and tighten up the pivot bracket👍

That hidden fitting is so hard to do, I do mine every year. I also do the ones on the front end, good video donyboy73.

There's a hidden one in that general area on the Simplicity tractors too (at least the mid-aughts models) that I didn't notice until I took off the hook for the deck to try to fix the bend.

I saw an old video from Chickanic, who called Don GOAT. Well, mate, that is a pretty big feather in your cap. Good stuff. Love the vids.

Not exactly hidden by any means. First rule when greasing any machine.. check anything that pivots, spins or moves at all. And an FYI.. The big box store John Deere mowers ARE assembled by John Deere in Greenville, Tennessee. A dealer will sell the same mower.

Actually, a great video for us people that own lawn tractors would be a preventive maintenance video.
No one ever does preventive maintenance videos.
Just now that it's broken, here's how to replace the part videos.

Didn't find that middle one for many years after I had my John Deere, after I found it I saw it in the owners manual later . LOL { Food for thought - Read owners manual }
