Easy to follow and thorough step by step tutorials do it yourself (DIY) to help you with your broken lawn and garden equipment including snowblowers.

I do my best to teach you how to easily diagnose problems the fastest, quickest and most efficient way with real repairs beyond just replacing a spark plug. These tips are for both the homeowner and shop owner.

Whether it be a handheld, two stroke, two cycle engine like a chainsaw, weed eater, weed wacker, string trimmer, grass trimmer, line trimmer, hedge trimmer, strimmer, brush cutter, leaf blower, or four stroke, four cycle units like a lawnmower, wood splitter, lawn tractor, snowblower, pressure washer, generator or a ride on mower that needs parts installed or replaced, I’m your go-to guy.

My favorite brands of spark plugs are NGK and Champion and are the ones I recommend.

I’ve been a small engine mechanic for many decades and also run my own repair shop so my videos are loaded with tips and tricks that I have learned and want to share with you. You will also find many tool and product reviews from top brands on my channel as well.

The thing with the John deer lawn tractors are where the grease fittings for the blade spindles are the grease fittings are fine but they have sealed bearings so the grease cannot penetrate the bearings unless you take and pull the inner bearings seals off but thanks for letting everybody know about the grease fitting in the front I didn’t know about that one

Thank you for showing me the exact position of 5th grease fitting on the tractor. And that was great to add the reminder about the spindle grease fittings. Some mower decks have sealed bearing spindles. JD doesn't. Thanks again.

Not sure if it was mentioned on a previous post, however my JD D140 has the fitting angling slightly to the left which was very hard to notice due to the dirt and grease, etc. I kept trying to put the gun on straight and was getting grease everywhere until I noticed the angle of the fitting. Hope it helps someone...

I have the JD L120, I greased it today for the first time, and I did not see any on the spindles on the deck. Are they on the L120 and I'm missing something? I even cleaned the whole deck. Thanks guys.

Just wondering if you have any thoughts on applying grease to the rack & pinion steering mechanism? Had to replace mine a few years ago due to it wearing out... maybe making too many turns?

Hey Dony, I've had a JD D140 for 3 years and have now lost power going up hills (20-30% grade). I've been reading that this is a problem with many of the lower end JDs. Anything I can do to improve the situation? I've seen your videos and find them to be the best and easily understood...any advice would be appreciated.

Dony I thought I had a squeaky deck on a LX188 but after lubricating the blade drive spindles, the squeaky / scrapy noise seems to be coming from the front drive clutch. Is there any way to lubricate that?

Hey Donyboy, 73, I want to buy a lawn tractor and i would like your opinion, Is it an absolute must to have grease fittings on the wheels of your tractor or can you do without them. Will the one without grease nipples on the wheel give you problems down the road ?
