I just love Al Roker. He was THE BEST choice for this segment. What an American treasure we have in him!

I had visited to city of Amsterdam in 1993 and had no plans or knowledge of this story. When I was walking around the city I noticed the signs for the Anne Frank house and decided to visit. It was very overwhelming experience and now over 30 years later still think of the emotion I felt after visiting and learning of the story. I have since read the book, watched movies etc and wonder over the life and lives lost because of the hate. She was only one young lady but she unknowingly gave the voice to many millions of people lost or forgotten as statistics.

I’ve been to the Annex in Amsterdam, I’ve never been so moved. My family visited Dachau Camp on the same trip.
I am pleased to see a exhibition to come and show the next generations what it was like.

I read this book when I was 12&a half in the 8th grade! I fell in love with Anne's story and was sad to know that her family died but her dad showed the world what he had lost! The story of those times in history will live on forever as long as it gets past on to those who will live it in their lives!

It was so nice to see how her living quarters would have looked. I read her story when I was young, so she has been with me most of my life, but I never knew how her place would have looked. This is not how I imagined it in my minds eye. Seeing this gave me a lot of comfort… it’s much nicer and more like a home than I imagined. Brings me some joy to know the hiding space wasn’t as bad as I imagined.
It’s a beautiful tribute to our darling Anne, whose words affected so many so very deeply.

It is still so hard knowing so many innocent people were murdered in Concentration Camps. Anne Frank is an inspiration through her words.

Anne Frank is special and her voice still speaks, carrying hope and light through time. Though she lived in darkness, her words still shine, reminding the world of her courage, dreams, and unbreakable spirit! 👊

Anne Frank was brilliant to keep a book of history in time that was horrifying 😰😔😔

I went to Amsterdam last year and could not go to the Anne Frank house because tickets were sold out. Hopefully this museum has more availability for people to experience it

As a kid The Diary of Anne Frank was optional to read in my class. I wasn’t a reader then nor was I Interested. As an adult I learned to enjoy reading and eventually I listened to the audiobook of Anne Frank. It remains one of the best books I’ve ever read. Certainly, one of the best Holocaust books and WW2 books

I've always been interested in going to the see the actual Anne Frank House in Amsterdam ever since I read her diary in the 4th Grade, but since there is going to be an exhibition in NYC, I definitely want to go and check it out before they close!

I have been to Amsterdam twice, but tickets to this house have been sold out both times. If you don't get them months in advance, then you won't be able to enter.

We visited the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam in the spring of 2001, and hope to return in August this year while on a lengthy vacation, including Switzerland.
