How to Make a Lazy Daisy Gemstone Ring by Denise Mathew
Показать описание
This is a tutorial for how to make gemstone and wire ring. If you want to skip the intro where I show past and future tutorials skip ahead 1:00
This is a versatile project in that you can use gemstone beads(rounds or rondelles) or bicone crystals and can adjust the amount of beads to increase or decrease the size. You can make the ring a little more chunky by using a larger gauge base wire or more delicate with a smaller gauge wire. If you are using more that 6 or 7 beads please make sure you put the same amount of beads on each side of the ring i.e. 4 and 4 on each wire and an extra bead if necessary. I used about 12 inches of base wire for the rings, but this can be adjusted based on the size you are making. For the samples I used 18 gauge silver wire for the base and 26 gauge silver wire to add the 6 mm carnelian beads. For the next sample I used 20 gauge silver wire for the base and 26 gauge wire for the 4mm amethyst rondelles. The sample in the video is 20 gauge gold wire and 26 gauge wire for 5 mm apatite rondelles.
