I disagree on certain items. For long term: Fire - Flint and steel, Ferro Rod and magnify lens I would replace that mess kit and the plastic water bottle and cup (all useless) for a Stainless Gi US Army Canteen cooking set. You don't need the Alcohol stove and fuel either. You can make a fire inside the Gi Canteen stove. You don't need the axe and the saw just a robust fixed blade Survival knife that could handle a beating. You don't need the shovel either, cut a wedge at the end of a branch. I would bring a bank line and a 550 survival paracord. You don't need all that fishing gear. The paracord carries it. I just lighten your pack.
