I'm about as much as David Bowie fan as I am a fan of the light. I don't know much about light. I don't have books, posters, nor quotes on light. However when it shows up, I can experience the world in a much more colorful and grand way.
Now, it's like I can appreciate David Bowie like the darkness. The magic is gone, but I can still remember what things were like with the light.

Bowie was damn right. He was a visionary, like many other people who didn't get carried away by social agenda.
What's the point of conquering outer space... if we can't solve the problems in our own planet?

What's the use of carrying our own species to other regions of the universe, if we can't get along with our own kind?

I'm not really a punk fan, but this song always stuns me.

The situational tone changes so quickly from a hero coming home to a steak dinner, to "oh shit, he's lost in space."

Listening to this right now with my head up on he sofa just imagining what its like to be in the song, right through outer space. The song effectively does it if you have imagination in you. If you think quietly and peacefully in a quiet room. It feels absolutely majestic, which only this song could do.
