I bought my parents the iPad 9 for Christmas last year and for myself got the iPad mini 6. The iPad fits perfectly in my parent's lifestyle while the Mini 6 is perfect for my on the go lifestyle. Both have their purposes for different people. But I admit, the price of the iPad 9 cannot be beat for the value!

For me, I do not use my iPad as a laptop replacement, but rather as a standalone drawing device for also taking handwritten notes, or as a remote touch screen for my MacBook Air via Sidecar for drawing via Photoshop, or for heavier editing tasks. And yes, I also found out the MacBook can also control the iPad and also acts like the Magic Keyboard. I have the 9th Gen iPad BTW with 256GB of storage, and the MacBook Air M1 with 256GB SSD and 8GB RAM. My former tablet the iPad replaces is a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 that I used for 6 years from 2016-2022, until I got the 9th-Gen iPad to replace it, and it was a heck of an improvement even when drawing using the Apple Pencil (despite the non-laminated display).

You forgot about the headphone jack. Maybe I missed it. 10th Gen doesn't have it. This will be a desirable iPad for many years to come.

I am just waiting for mine! As someone who is really not concerned with what's new today, iPad 9th generation is still the best choice for me.

I like these type of videos . Keeps you in the loop of great prices, and shows the ups and downs of owning something more affordable and practical.

Before, the only way to go to the Home Screen you had to press the home button but now (must’ve been an update) you can swipe up and it’ll take you home or open all your opened apps. It’s pretty cool because you don’t have to use the home button anymore. You only have to use it to get into the iPad

I got rid of my iPad Air 3 and went with an iPad 9. The keyboard worked with it and I just couldn’t see spending twice as much.

My brother and sister have the iPad 9. They love this because they can use it for games and school work and it still performs very well.

The battery is just amazing. If I do work stuff on my iPad, I get over 10 hours of battery. If I only consume content, then I get over 16 hours on a single charge.

i choose ipad 9 because of the touch ID, which allows me to unlock it without putting my face in front of the face id.

This video is great for those who think that they need the pro models. It’s nice to know that there are lower cost options. I hate the way the pencil charges, but I don’t use that often.

Another perk of the budget iPads. My mom has the 8th gen one and it not only has fast charging but it comes with a 20W power adapter

just because it doesn’t have a laminated display doesn’t mean it’s a “problem” and heck if this iPads screen gets damaged that’s the only advantage a non laminated display has over a laminated display

I own the iPad pro 12.9 m1, iPad 9 and iPhone 13 Pro max, and iPad 9 is the one I use the most for Genshin, mainly because of the insane battery life it offers (I can play Genshin at max settings for 6 hours straight, that's close to insanity man). People making a fuss about non laminated display, say so due to Apple Pencil, as I use my iPad pro for notetaking, I am yet to even feel any difference on my iPad 9.
iPad 9 is the best value for money device Apple has right now and it can do almost everything at a third of the ipad pros price. My iPad Pro M1 now just lies on the table in standby:-D and I am gonna say it, when iPad 10 comes with the A14 or even the A15 it'll be an instant buy for me, you truly cannot look aside the battery life this offers, that's the MVP of the iPad 9, I just can't stress enough.

True Tone is the main reason why I finally upgraded my iPad Mini 2 to the iPad Mini 6; I absolutely love True Tone and to me...that is a main selling point. eye strain is a huge issue for me so being comfortable is key; glad to see the budget iPad is also following the trend.

I’ve always been more of an Android guy, but this tablet is so good for the price. There just isn’t an under 400€, perhaps even under 600€ Android tablet that functions as smoothly as ipad 10.2 and is supported for years to come. I don’t mind those huge bezels on a tablet. They kind of work well on a tablet and don’t look outdated like they do on iPhone SE. It’s weird how nice the screen is as well, despite having an ancient 60 hz refresh rate.

i watched many videos this week about ipad, its crazy how different the reviews are for gen 8 and gen 9. The value u are getting from ipad 9 made me to switch from android tablets for the 1st time. I dont know why but the android tablets become so slow and with lags after 2 years, and at this point the xiaomi tab 5 have the same price with the ipad 9, and the s7+ is more expensive by 20% for 15% less or same performance. I have the ipad9 for 2-3 days now and change m every day life. The multitasking and office jobs are so smooth like u have a laptop with u. i wish apple release some iphones and mac's with the same value in the future . Especially with phones is hard to most ppl to spend 1000$ for a phone that will u change in a year or 2 cause lets be honest u have a phone with u 24x7 its not the lack of updates that make u to change phone but the physical dmg u cause to it over time. So in m case i prefer to spend 1000$ in 4-6 years for 4 different midrange phones.

You really forget to mention the battery life of this thing, it's a big deal for lots of people and the budget iPad is the king in this area for delivering dubel the amount of time using it compares to mini, air and pro 12.9
Really impressive .

This is actually my first option if I ever went for a tablet right now, unless Google makes a good enough competing product at the same price tier.
