Im in sales but not car sales.

We call this objection handling

What the customer did was put up a smoke screen
If you don’t give them a reason to buy it THAT day and close on the spot they will delay the sale. That’s just how it goes

Negate this by scheduling a time both decision makers are present. If you have any on the spot discounts. Bring that up… “is it worth calling your wife to save you that $600 that’s good for WHILE you’re here?”

Preventing objections is ideal (making sure the wife is there)

Handling objections is a whole other process but can be negates
