My coworker did the most incredible thing the other day. A customer was being rude and loud, disturbed all the other customers. Frank asked him to calm down or we would have to call the police. The customer calls Frank a coward and invites him to take this outside. Frank calmly pulls out his wallet, flashes a PRISON ID with "violent offender" in bold red. I have never seen a grown man run away so fast in my life.

I spent one day working retail and nearly lost my mind. In that one day there was a shoplifter, one guy demanding a discount for no reason, someone else tried to steal a shopping cart, another kept trying to use a card that was declined four times, yet one more stranger tried putting stickers on stuff, covering up the prices. Maybe it was just one REALLY unlucky day but if I had to go through 5 more days of that I woulda turned into a maniac. Massive respect to everyone who works retail, y'all deserve better.
