This is, apparently, the only Youtube video that is correct. I read the directions and used it once. Then I wanted a refresher by watching Youtube videos. Every other video at the top of the feed was wrong about so many things. One guy proudly started the video by saying, "I don't read the directions." It showed. Thank you, Mr. Leeman, for having read the directions and showing us the real way to use this tool!

Thanks much, my friend. I carefully read the instructions twice and never saw a reference to that button up in front that allows you to engage/disengage the auto motion feature. In fact, I thought the unit was broken since you couldn't move that button and was just about to return to Home Depot for a replacement. But you saved me the trip. Now it's moving forward and reverse for me. Back to kitchen peacefulness tonight!

So helpful, especially on the auto feed button. I couldn't figure out how to engage the thing. Appreciate you taking the time to make this video!

I appreciate your video; it helped me figure out how to unlock the auto-feed button. You also provided valuable information about the auger and battery, so thank you once again! Great job on the video, 👍 and I'm now a new subscriber.

Had mine since last year. I used it once and it worked really well. Needed to use it today and for the life of me, I couldn't remember how to do the auto-feed button. Your video helped jog my memory on how to use it...Thx. :)

Good video. Love the kiteboard. I used mine quite a bit in Miami, but now I'm land locked in DFW😢

Thanks for the video. How do you go about feeling the clog/resistence with auto feed forward motion? Having a hard time feeling the clog and locking the clamp to break it down as I cannot tell once it reached the clog

Thank you! I didn't know how to lift up the front to engage the feed or use the auto feed switch and wasted a lot of time before finding your video. Ryobi's instructions are terrible.

This thing is a little bit slow, but it does get the job done. You just have to be patient.

They designed the auto feed button back asswards. Depressing a button means a feature is ON/ENGAGED. Not here. The only tool - mechanical or electronic - I have ever seen like this. The button must be UP to engage the auto feed. Paint the "Auto Feed" label on the other side!

What do I do if my cable is only retracting half way? I used it basically to the max length to unclog a pipe, and after I cleaned the cable I let it dry, I tried to retract it, but it will only go back half the length and then just spin and not retract anymore. What should I do?

Don't waste your time, folks. Tom is earnest and well prepared. But this "power" auger is no such thing. Its advancement pace is best described as glacial. You can sit there "advancing" the feed for five minutes to find out it's gone five inches. Absolute waste of money on this product. And before you ask, yes--I made sure the lock wasn't engaged.
