Not very good to compare graphics on a PP filter that makes the entire sky literally white in AC and then use completely different hour of day in iRacing.

In AC, you need to have Fonsecker's sound mod for the AMG GT3 so it doesn't sound like ass.

iRacing needs to completely update the tire and physics model to even come close to the handling characteristics [not even mentioning graphics here] of AC. Try and do any kind of controlled slide in iRacing compared with AC and you will immediately feel the difference. iRacing lacks that range between grip and slip, it's pretty much still iceRacing. I've put several hundred hours back to back of playing time between both games and the physics on the edge of control, in a nutshell, are night and day. Maybe iRacing will one day actually put an equal portion of its proceeds towards something that is half-assed currently with the tire model in iRacing.

Assetto Corsa is as realistic as iRacing but with much better graphics. The weakest area for AC was sounds but it has improved a lot (watch LaFerrari FXXK preview an you will be crying from excitement)

Fantastic years for racing fans. Especially for PC gamers.

I played AC and now I have iRacing. If only Assetto Corsa had the iRating, and Safety Rating, along with Licence classes and a SCHEDULE for online racing.. then I would be able to switch. Also, AC needs some kinda Radio for chatter. SRS is a good alt to iRacing but not enough series are being played at once like iRacing.

In Assetto Corsa 2:22 is also a regular time actually on the slow site. i think you had a green track setting or something because there is no way an experienced sim racer could be so slow !

Spa is getting an upgrade in 1.5 in AC so should look a bit better

I guess it all boils down to what do you want to do in the game? Do you want to spend hundreds of dollars and race other people? Go iRacing. Are you okay with singleplayer/AI racing, have access to mods of all kinds (there are GREAT car and track mods as well as sounds, skins, cameras and random apps) and pay a lot, i mean A LOT less*? Go Assetto Corsa. Also with the latest iRacing update it gets a lot closer graphically to AC. Actually, the skies and trees already look better in iRacing, the rest is probably still better in AC. As for FFB I feel like getting more information through the wheel (T300 GTE) in Assetto.

*To race in Blancpain sprint series this season, you need to pay 12x $15 for tracks and $12 for car which is $192. This is one time payment and if you buy 6+ items at a time, you save 20% so you could cut it down to $154. Then there is monthly $12 subscription, that is another $36. With various discounts it can be cut to approx one half. So it would be anywhere between $172 and $228.

I'm surprised how much better Assetto Corsa looks. I could mistake the in car for real video whereas iracing has that overly dark computer-ish graphics look. not that assetto is perfect, but graphically I'm impressed.

Congrats for your video guy, I also wanna know which is more realistic. It's true Assetto is not so easy to drive e easy to save the car.... Assetto Corsa's engine sounds more accurate but the whining sound on iracing sounds a lot better & realistic

in every review i listen ever some word assetto corsa feel more alive that s why i prefer AC over iracing
