I'm an introverted extrovert myself. Introvert until I warm up to you and then become extrovert in your company only.

It took me a long time to find people who were okay with that. What you said about not having to second guess the silence between you is a big thing within a friendship. That means it's genuine. That means it's not forced. A forced friendship just isn't real.

I'm sure you guys will remain great friends just as I have with my friends all these years later, even though we barely see or talk to one another for long periods of time.

I got one of those rare orphan diseases at 34 and my husband and 1 girlfriend stayed. I’m in my 60s and a nurse friend has been my friend like my husband for years. So dream positive and just have a “couple”
of friends and live your good life ❤as best you can.

I am a hermit introvert 😅
My best friend and I lived in different states for the past 6 years, it was hard not be able to talk to her whenever I wanted, especially when we had a 6 hour time difference. We literally had to make appointments to call each other lol. However, no matter how many months went by, as soon as we got on the phone, it was like no time had passed even though we both had grown separately.
A good friendship requires a solid foundation, we met when we were both going through really tough times in our marriages, but we were there to listen and uplift one another, and that 2+ years when we were together all the time solidified our friendship. Even though we had a weird beginning— we weren’t motivated to be each other’s friend when we were introduced 😆
I moved around a lot my whole life, she is the only one I can lean on today, but I am still so thankful and happy 😊

My point is, don’t give up and buy into the limiting beliefs that friendships are hard to come by! When it’s the right time, you won’t miss each other!
Plus, friendship is a quality over quantity thing anyway 😊

Oh I get this sm. I was sad too when my two friends moved away yrs ago, one out of state and across the country and the other long hrs away :/ But we’re still really good friends and they’re still my besties and we still confide in each other I miss having them here physically tho 😭


Edit: rewatching this, I totally get losing friends. It sucks because I’m also v. introverted. I can be extroverted but I’m definitely introverted. It’s hard for me to make friends. So those small group of friends I have—they have their own life. It gets lonely sometimes. So I definitely got v sad when my two friends moved away

It's so relatable.. I speak to everyone nicely, I'm easy to talk to, ppl think I must b having lot of friends, but introverts will have more friends than me.. bcz I can't keep friends.. get exhausted easily 😔 don't know how to keep the conversation going on.. I wish I could find someone whom I could call at 3 am n not get annoyed over it.. that's why I thought of getting married, but unfortunately I'm not good at talking so not getting there too
