Notice the new Meta AI on Facebook & Instagram? You can't turn it off, and people are annoyed

Artificial intelligence continues to become more and more integrated into our daily life, most recently with the new AI chat-bot that was rolled out on Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp. Over the weekend, you may have noticed the blue circle icon pop up on the search bar of your Facebook and Instagram. Whether you like it or not, the new AI chat bot is seemingly here to stay on social media.

This AI is causing all people who do art to be upset. The amount I saw leaving Instagram... Ai art should not really even exist. Just imagine all the hard work and hours you put into a piece for it to be used as information for the ai to make art from.

Hate it. Guess I am going to have to close my social media accounts because this stupid thing thinks it knows what I want.. and it doesn't have a clue! Constant interruption for what I am doing. I trying helping people look for their lost pets on Facebook sites, and Meta AI tells me to search the web. If I wanted the web, wouldn't I have gone to web browser first?!? Or it is assuming people are too stupid to use search engines? I have muted and turned off everything I could find on Meta AI, and it still interrupts me! Facebook is about to really tick off a lot of their users.

The AI also uses all of people’s posts to train its AI without consent. Many, many artists are upset and are planning to leave if this isn’t fixed!

This is why i never download social media apps, but log in on a browser tab, then close it. Giving them access to your contacts and photos is not smart.
