This is not true. If you try searching for a picture of a "blonde woman" you can select the search button and it will perform the traditional search. However, if you search for "blonde woman on exercise bike" it doesn't matter which search button you select, Meta AI will take over.

Ai said I couldn't then I said I have a right to choose then ai went into a long spiel so turn off the app for now it keeps bouncing bad

Yes you can remove it as simply as deleting the app and reloading it. Meta AI will appear as a contact now not at the bottom of the screen as a search anymore.
