Meta AI in WhatsApp can perform a wide range of functions, including answering questions, providing information, and helping with customer support inquiries.

🔶STEPS
To hide the Meta AI icon or button on WhatsApp.
1. First, open WhatsApp on your mobile phone.
2. Now, tap on the three dots in the top right corner to access the menu.
3. A pop-up menu appears. Just tap on "Settings.".
4. Here you will see various options. Find the Chats section and tap on it.
5. Under the chats settings, you will see various settings. Look for the Show Meta AI button.
6. After finding just tap on the toggle button to turn off Meta AI Button on the WhatsApp home screen.
7. Once you've toggled off the button, the Meta AI button will be hidden immediately.

If you wish to delete Meta AI chat conversations, simply long-press on the chat list and tap the delete icon located at the top of the screen.

With these simple steps, you can easily manage the visibility of the Meta AI button on your WhatsApp home screen.

This worked for me once, but now it came back and whatsapp settings does not show the option to hide it anymore. It's like meta ai is now being forced on android phones. It's a chat messaging app why does there need to be a virtual ai for that? It's absolutely unnecessary and irrelevant to the purpose of the app . LeVe that meta ai for Facebook only. That's like having an ai virtual assistant for sending text messages. Makes no sense.

Thank you for this, no AI opt out available in Australia. I despise the word AI, it gives me anxiety, I don't want to see this rubbish everytime I message friends. They had flaws in whatsaop with the constant forced updates which is very annoying and now they completely destroyed. Why do tech companies insist in shoving their rubbish into our throats? Why can they keep things simple? Sick of all of them. I don't want AI and I dontvwant to be forced into it into my phone. Its my phone, my property and I dont want controlling apps dictating how to use my phone.
