When my iron gets too low, my whole tongue and gums will turn when Im seated for longer than 20minutes. The er doctor said getting dehydrated makes it worse. Im guessing my dehydration made my blood volume thicker so when I was seated, it took a minute for the blood to circulate up to my head since I was low iron/anemic.
