It is readily known in geology that the Western Inner Sea (100 - 66 MYA) covered as a shallow sea (~400 feet deep) 2000 miles wide between the (later evolving) Rocky Mountains and the older era (and later era) evolving Applachians, and Great Smoky Mountains. The sea went from the Canadian regions, flowing into the Arctic Sea, but all the way down to the Gulf of Mexico. Eventually, the Midwest was uplifted in the northern states (South Dakota ~1300 feet elevation), as the eventually created Missouri-Mississippi watershed basin drained down to the Gulf of Mexico today.

These organics, and all iron-rich and iron-poor sandstones, would be sedimentary seabed layerings, that were uplifted in the Utah basin, .... But, also (as said) there was a compatriot asteroid impact at the same time as the Yucatan Chicxulub (dinosaur-killer) asteroid impact. The proto-North American "craton" (continental intact bedrock) was located down at the equator attached to that Central American region, ... alongside the Northeast portion of Austrailia and southern China.4

Your local to the Southwest Vernal neighbor Blind Frog Ranch, also has a much smaller asteroid fragment on their ranch land, which they are encountering.

The Uintah Basin, 110 mile x 110 mile impact zone (that same size as the Chicxulub asteroid impact zone), has now eroded and been infilled all these 60 MYA to now. What is important is to see and find is the shock quartz impact ring and the center of the impact zone.

It is strongly suggested that the same sized asteroid, amongst other asteroid hits that have their locations and hot spot trails at Yellowstone with its 5 super magma chambers, Siskyou-Klamath mountain range, with 5 super magma chambers, at the Oregon/California border, ... the Washington Olympic Peninsula Mount Olympus, sintered southern Cascades, across the eastern Washington Scablands, and running up the Columbia RIver into the Snake River, and stopping at the resistant Rocky Mountains of the (eventual) Couer dAlene Lake.

The Uintah basin, by impact size would state that the same Chicxulub asteroid, 6 miles in diameter and buried under soft geology of the Central American lithosphere of gulf water, sandstone, and limestone at 12 miles deep. The Uintah Basin with harder bedrock, metamorphed sandstone, has its asteroid buried 3-4-6 miles deep, and is what is manifesting all these intermittent non-ionizing 1.6 Ghz and ionizing gamma ray radiations at Skinwalker.

The land and upper atmosphere is manifesting what would be considered an entire geomagnetic anomalous torroid in the Skinwalker Ranch region, that manifests outward up to 4--5 miles from central Skinwalker, and up to ~4, 000 feet in elevation. Such manifestation would be like the Earth's Van Allen radiation belts and geomagnetic fluxes, ... manifesting from this sizable but smaller active asteroid having its own geomagnetic torroidal flux ... and intermitted radiation transmissions.

A geologist should be taken out there to analyze and date that layer of the mesa, and its historical relation to the once Western Inner Sea, and eventual draining, ... and how these samples relate to being during the Inner Sea period, between the Inner Sea and the asteroid impact era, or after the asteroid impact date.

(As said) I can supply greater accuracy, if/when present at Skinwalker Ranch, and provide further classroom teachings of this research and finding.

To those who've commented...they've triied digging, but the machines break down. Also, Brandon is trying to preserve the mesa. So they've been trying to use some alternative methods of learning what's inside. It gets stranger and stranger when they discover small details. I haven't found it boring at all. It's understandable that Travis and Eric would do repeat experiments because science depends on repeatable results for valid research. It just can't be a one-off. Therefore, I personally find these little discoveries, very interesting. We can't draw any conclusions without all of the information, and there's a lot that doesn't make the show for various reasons. But if the top scientist in the nation is mystified, we aren't going to figure it out either.

what if the object is a crashed UFO that struck the mesa a long time ago when it was a seabed or a forest? And these crafts often cause anomalies in vegetation like preservation or overgrowth or no growth. Maybe it's a decayed craft surrounded by the vegetation material is disturbed and affected when it crashed. Fascinating!
