Really felt for that calf, hope it gets better, it didn't look good. I know the show's producers edit the footage for the viewers, but it's a real phenomenon. Unlike most on the History channel it's based on real events and data.

Guys, the calf had pink eye, in both eyes, it was making circles because it was BLIND. Then to have another Rancher and Vet come on the show and not diagnose this, was comical. The proper protocol is, while the calf was in the head-catch, give a 1ml per 100lb dose of Zuprevo or Draxxin (which in this case looks to be 3-4ml based on the calves size) rinse the eye with saline solution, put patches over the infected eyes so that it will not spread to others in the herd.
This is why people can't believe anything that you guys are doing. I really enjoyed, "enjoyed" watching the show, but this is to put it bluntly, stupid.

This clip is from the previous week's episode, Season 5 Episode 9. In the most recent episode yesterday, Season 5 Episode 10, they said the calf was doing much better. Part of it was medical treatment but it is also another example of maladies clearing up once away from the ranch. Episode 10 was ground-breaking. The ex-Sheriff was a confidant of Ken Meyers and it was the first expose of Ken Meyers having had multiple experiences. He never said anything the whole time he was alive because he was afraid the US government would take the property away from him. The ex-sheriff was shown some memory metal.
