The family members of the 31-year-old trainee doctor, who was raped and murdered at Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, revealed their harrowing ordeal after they were informed about the incident. The family said they were told that their daughter had died by suicide and were made to wait outside the hospital for three hours before they could see her body.

Silent cry
A broken soul, a stolen breath,
A brutal hand that dealt with death.
On duty, in the halls of care,
But cruelty found her unaware.

Her shattered pelvis tells the tale,
Of horrors hidden in the veil.
Glasses cracked, her sight grew dim,
Her bleeding eyes spoke of a sin.

Her body bruised, her spirit torn,
No mercy left, just pain was born,
A vile assault, her purity stained,
A nightmare's marks that still remain.

The truth was drowned in silence cold,
Her parents lied to, heart controlled,
They said she chose end her fight,
But justice sleep in darkest night.

150 grams of shame they found,
Yet still, the guilty walked unbound,
Her bleeding womb, her broken trust,
A system failure laid in dust.

No voice for her, No justice shown,
A lonely grave, she rest alone,
But may her cries ignite the flame,
Until her truths reclaims her name.

Rise up for her, demand what's right,
for justice needs our loudest lights,
no more shall victims bleed in vain
Lets justice cleanse this world of pain.

This is Govt. college lets not forget that. You may have AC and comfortable place in your private news agency but Govt places lacks even basic cleanliness, forget about comfort

Doctors are human too, they get exhausted and need to eat . So doctors rooms should be mandatory with 24*7 CCTV in all hospitals around India

I don't think this horrific crime happened coincidentally..I have a doubt that this has already been planned and then executed. For sure some big heads are involved in this crime and those injuries to the victim cannot be caused by a single man even though he is a trained boxer....

I am from Kolkata and the condition of this R G kar hospital is so bad that it would be a nightmare to visit there ..even the OT's and patients area are always dirty and in horrible situation and there is always lack of bed for the patients.. Don't know how such a big and famous hospital is running without basic facilities for patients and doctors..State government must answer about the unsafe and dirty situation of government hospital

1. Why was the Seminar hall not locked? Usually Seminar halls are locked by Security guards after meetings or at least by 5 pm. It is the duty of lectures and the Principal to ensure this. 2. No lady will generally take rest in a hall and that too without locking from inside 3. The other lady students and nurses may have vital information 4. Was there something which the victim witnessed which could have led to this unfortunate situation. 5. The Principal must be knowing about the culprits behind this horrible incident. Praying for the daughters of India.
