Ordered it. This fixes everything that I thought is wrong with my A6300. Like battery, separate settings/switch for photo and video, flip out screen, tally frame, follow me framing, USB-C port, SD card write speed, record button location and so much more.

I don't understand the card slot issue - I shot professional weddings from as long ago as the early 2000s, on top of the line Canon FF gear which only had one card slot in use(which were giant compact flash cards). I never bothered with second cards/slots. Cards rarely fail or even never fail in most cases, and pros will have a second or third body with them anyway. I've had an A6400 knocking about for 4 years and the card has never gone wrong in camera. I think people worry too much!
I think judgement for the image quality needs to be decided when the RAW files can be opened - everything else is speculation based on JPEGS at the moment

I ordered my A6700 last week. My main camera is the A7IV so I have all full frame glass (GM, G, Sigma, & Tamron). The main reason for the purchase is wildlife photography with either my Sigma 150-600 (225-900 f/7.5-9.45 35mm equivalent) DG DN OS sport and with my Tamron 50-400 (75-600 f/6.75-9.45) DI III VC VXD lenses. I’m getting A7RV AI auto focus with the full 759 point phase detection for a fraction of the cost of an A7RV. Crop mode on my A7IV is only 14mp.

I have an a6000 and it's looking like it's finally time to upgrade. After 4 years, the a6700 is a step up from the a6600 but definitely feels like Sony held back in a lot of areas so it wouldn't really be an alternative to their full frame lineup. For me, it's good.

Hi, planning to buy camera for the 1st time, confused between a6600 and a6700.. hearing a lot about overheating of a6700 and also not sure whether to slend extra money on camera body or should I use that money to buy extra lens and a6600.
Pls help. Will do hybrid works, focussed more towards cinematography

Thanks for the video! I'm thinking about getting a6700. Right now I'm trying to decide between a6700 and Fujifilm X-S20. I mostly film hiking videos and take nature related photos. For me the size and weight of the camera are important factors as I hike really long distances. Both of the cameras are really appealing. Sony has a slight upper hand because of the weather sealing and the better auto focus. Then again Fuji has 7 stop IBIS and open gate 6.2k video. It's a hard decision! Usually I've always leaned towards Sony.

what do i do if i don't shoot much video? A7C costs less and weight of body and lenses are now actually comparable. and it actually makes a jump in quality for photos. I'm still on an a6000 since 8 years

I'm us ising an NEX-6 and Sony 16-70 F4 lens. I'm on my feet for 2 hours at cars shows and the size of this camera is great for me.All my images are for the internet. thanks fo the video.

I’m thinking about whether to get the A6700 or the A7IV. What holds me back from the A7IV is that I have quite a few lenses that are APS-C. Do you think I should take a big step and switch to the A7IV, or since I have more APS-C lenses, should I stick to the APS-C line and go for the A6700?

As a Canon Rebel series shooter, the a6700 is a huge upgrade for me. I was planning to get the EOS R7, but the RF mount exclusive to Canon crippled the camera. Even before the announcement of the a6700, I was considering switching to the Sony system. The a6700 may be good enough for me, or it could be the best first camera in the Sony system.

I have a ZVE-10 and this will be a great upgrade to that. I pre-ordered because I want something small for street and small projects that has weather sealing, etc. I'll use my S5II for client work.

Right now the a6700 and the a7iii is a $100 difference for sale. Which would be the better deal with out getting in to it

I hope you would go into A6700 IBIS capability too. I'd love to see if this really improves over A6600. Awesome and honest VDO as always regardless!
