Why does God let Satan cause so much harm?

God did not allow the enemy to reign, we did. Passivity and ignoreance (spelled wrong intentionally) are the two biggest attitudes that allow evil to grow.

I absolutely agree with your assessment. Think of the billionaire who wants a wife to love him for who he is, not what he has. What would you do? How would you do it? I find it interesting that the church of Christ is the Bride of Christ and that is the type of relationship the bible paints for us.

I think you're correct Pastor Mike. It was the only way to filter and sift out those who would worship Him "IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH!" for those are the type of worshiper that the Father desires. If He just came out and said "I'm God, look at what I have and what I can do." Who would say no?

Great explanation Mike! God does not force love, we have a choice. This makes it a genuine relationship. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
