Late to the game, but thank you so much! I have been scratching my head looking at LS oil catch can plumbing diagrams thinking how crazy it is that there are so many ways, and wondering which was best. In my head I am thinking that is has to be easier than that. This video, makes it simple and easy. Thank you again.

Next tech tip could be about proper mounting for external fuel pumps, above, or below a sump, line sizing, fuel pump size etc.

Another great video, this needs to be pushed more in the industry, there is so much misinformation surrounding catch cans.

Thanks for the information, I have a built 6.0 turbo and under quite hard acceleration and de acceleration blows a cloud of smoke it mosquitoes for miles, lol, it has a none vented catch but plumbed back into the intake. Thanks ever so much.

Dont forget to have your vent lines at the FRONT of the valvecover and not the rear ! .. When you are pulling 2g of the line the back of the valvecover fills up

Thanks for answering my question. My build should net around 1200whp. I’ll keep my -10an catch can setup!

We put a ball valve with a short section of 3/8 inch hose on the bottom of the catch can to drain it. With 27 lb of boost it gets no oil out of the catch can just nearly pure ethanol. Catch can is mounted out front on the car where it gets cold air so the alcohol distills out of the vapor.

On my 68 mustang fuel injected 438windsor high compression e85 motor street strip car i run exact set up, except i use a Moroso baffled breather with internal foam seal in each breather n breather has hose on each one and that hose runs to breather catch can tank. Car makes around 520wheel through a big stalled th400 and will probably run high 9's all motor. Weighs 3k lbs and drives like a new Cadillac on street, but launches like a drag car. Exactly what i wanted. A car that i can drive anywhere anytime and drive to track and rip off some high 9's and drive home. Car is stupid fast from a dig and even teslas have no chance except the Plaid...lol

How about a spark comparison with a distributer vs coil on plug. Detailed info on why one is better than the other.

Doug is there any way you could make a short video covering the rear suspension setup on your Nova? I know you run Caltracs but would like to know more about your setup. Thanks

Options for mounting brackets would be nice.

Possibly a dumb question, but how do you handle the PVC port near the throttle body? Typical PCV hose goes from valve cover to the intake. If you just run a can from the valve cover, are you just left with an open fitting at the intake?

How to prevent condensation water in the breather can? Just drain it often during rainy season?

Quick question, my race truck makes around 700hp, but my races are 250-500 miles long, should I run 2 catch cans?

Yea. I put it back into the intake even though I have an ITB set up. I hate the smell and mine is a road car

Why dont you run it into the intake pre turbo to pull vaccum on the crankcase??

ghj

You don't need to any vacum to the intake while out of boost?
