Thanks! Is it ok if I replace the ATF by using a pump to remove fluid from dipstick opening? I don't have the ability to get under car but want to put fresh fluid in. Thanks!

Great video as always.
But it's recommended that the oil level be checked when it is at 80c.
You can use the volvo VIDA software interface to confirm the gearbox oil temperature.
Also, wear a long-sleeved coat or jumper to avoid burning your arm on the coolant hoses.

I love 1A Auto Parts vids for the V70. They are my bible! But you say you can fill the transmission fluid from the same spot but how? I cant see how you can get a bottle down there to that very thin tube but I must ne missing something...

I have a 2001 volvo s40 bought it in Washington drove it to texas but the transmission oil is black and smells bad. Should it require nd oil change to drive it back to Washington??

ON MY 2005 V 70 THE MARKS ARE not THERE,
