I get errors for every single command you said and did. Its says unable to fetch some archives, some index files failed to download, unable to locate package mint upgrade. WINDOWS IS MUCH EASIER. This is just a mess. I'm using the command line just like you are doing.

So I get a error when I type sudo mintupgrade that says"please don't run this command as root or with elevated privileges" and I don't know what to do, any advice

If we upgrade to newer of os version in this method, does it delete the files and folders already there?

When I try to update to "Vanessa" I get an exit code 100, and cannot upgrade. Any idea how to fix this issue?

Wow, so simple. I watched so many videos, and none of them worked. This was the easiest and worked flawlessly.

My mint said I had virginia and needed Una to update to venessa so update stopped dead. Ill come back to it at some point, mybe Ive jumped the gun, installed mint cinnamon today from official website so Ive no concerns as yet for performance, just wanted to update as much as possible.
