Improve your Excel workflow with the INDEX MATCH function. With this function you can find a value in a column and return another associated value based on its match. In this video INDEX MATCH will check a county name and against a master list of all counties and return its ID number. This method is much more dynamic than VLOOKUP or HLOOKUP.
