Apple Pencil for iPad, iPad Air and iPad Pro is expensive, and not everyone needs or wants pressure sensitivity for note taking and general productivity. That's why I decided to scour Amazon to find the 3 best Apple Pencil alternatives under $50! In this video I go over the individual styluses, go over their individual strengths, weaknesses and unique characteristics in order to help you choose the right one!

I own the $33 but was on sale for $25 when I purchased it! Works fantastic, and I highly recommend using it! I use it with my IPAD 8th gen! Also he forgot to mention that alot of these pens come with extra tips in the packing which the more expensive Apple Pencil does not!

A video without blasting intro music and straight to the point! Thanks

You can also use a first gen Apple Pencil on the new iPads if you connect it through a Bluetooth app (as officially they won’t connect otherwise) and it works well except you won’t get tilt or pressure sensitivity. Tilt sensitivity is quite a good feature for drawing.

Actually just got the JamJake one to give my nephew for his iPad Mini since we set him up with OneNote for school and a pdf planner he can write with and it’s perfect for his use case compared to my Apple Pencil. Plus I trust him more with a $30 pen than a $100+ one.

I agree with you, Noah. The first one is the best one for value despite the weight and lack of USB-C. Also, who helped you film this? Loved the angles. Felt up close and personal 😊

I've had the JamJake one but actually the tip looked a bit different than the model shown in this video; It was more like the one on the original Apple Pencil 2nd Gen. It was great but I've now ditched it for another Apple Pencil alternative which works exactly like the JamJake but also features the wireless charging when attached magnetically to the side of an iPad. Talking about the Goojodoq 13th Gen if anyone is curious.

I don't know why he just posts the video what I exactly wanted. Love from India 😊

Thanks for the heads up on the pressure sensitivity. I assume these cheap pens are not meant to be pressure sensitive like the Apple pen. Therefore, I'm just gonna have to fork out $99 for the Apple pen for pressure sensitivity.

I was going to buy an Apple Pencil 2 for my iPad Air 4 but didn’t like the fact i could only charge it by removing the iPad case. ( I’m bigger fan of thicker cases that sit better on my lap rather than the trifold ones) at least there are some cheaper alternatives that will allow me to do the same thing with an alternative charging method.

Dude I needed this work in the car industry now and I can use my personal iPad to sign docs. I wanna be fancy but I don’t want to go broke buying apple pencils thinking a Logitech crayon.

My first pen was jamjake. After using it for a year, I switched to Yebos. Now I prefer Yebos pen. It works quickly and has long battery life, which allows me to focus on my work better. The most important thing is that the price is only $9.9.

Quick question: do the cheap options all have palm rejection?

Good useful video. The Adonit is a premium one and it's in the Logitech Crayon territory (when it's discounted), but the last one can be tilted to adjust line thickness. I'm about to buy the iPad 8 but maybe it's better to wait a little longer to find out if the rumors of a new update in the spring are true, with significant changes and 64 GB of storage in the base model.
