So I watched until 6:40 of the video to get to the dealbreaker - no pressure sensitivity.

Why does every video hype the pen to begin with and then in the end go ”okay so if you’re drawing don’t buy it”.

I had the same pen, but the tap on the top meant that any bump or tap from being in your bag or pocket meant it turned on, draining the battery. Also, it stopped charging after a couple of months.

As I own both cheap chinese stylus (20$) and 1st gen apple pencil.
I would prefer the cheaper one to apple pencil.
Reasons
-design: the cheap one come with 2nd gen apple pencil like design. and I think it's more handy.
-price, of course
-perfect palm rejection. just works like apple pencil
-I have done many tests on both of them and still can not find difference in latency.
-just activate it and it works on every ipad. no need to connect

Cons of the cheap one
-it use usb C charger
-no pressure sensitivity you can only tilt it for different line.

conclusion
Perfect for students and people who take a lot of notes
Not recommend for artist.
**Almost every different brands of them(I don't know about Penoval) are made in same factory so no need to worry much about quality and functionality.
They just rebrand them and sell
