My Apple Pencil Gen 2 is my favorite accessory for my iPad Pro. It use it for note taking, as a stylus, and just to interact with my ipad. I use the knock off one and I’m a artist. I can deal with the fact there is no pressure thing because you can change optically and thickness in 3 seconds on the side. So actually its pretty good. The battery life is 15 hours and for charging its only 2 hours. So i say its a very good alternative also for artist. Hope this helps <3

The knock off is great for Ibis paint x, or other apps that DON’T require pressure sensitivity but can mimic an Apple Pencil drawing experience.

Thanks Jeff! My wife was trying to decide between an expensive Apple Pencil or a cheap knockoff and this helps a lot. She just wants to take notes. She won't be illustrating or drawing with it.

not everyone is an artist. The pressure sensitivity only matters if you are an Artist or designer OR have the Ipad PRO the other Ipad models dont have the screen pressure sensitivity ANYWAYS those users would be paying more for a pencil and not even use the capabilities. The price difference is really a huge factor for virtually a universal stylus. I have been using the knock off for a year as a power user student, I purchased the USB C variant because it uses the same charger as the ipad air 4. Great alternative for about 25% of the price!
