Truth or lies? Hasan minhaj calls Kevin O’leary grifter and gets destroyed...is ftx behind us?

Recently in a rather contentious interview on the Daily Show with guest host Hasan Minhaj, famed Shark Tank investor Kevin O'Leary remained measured while facing a slough of questions about his influence over the common investor, and just how involved with FTX he actually was. O’Leary explained that he was contacted by Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of FTX, at a time when FTX was doing rounds at a $23 billion valuation, despite it being “basically a startup” at the time of his investment. The conversation also touched on the role of media in providing financial advice to the public. O’Leary’s presence on shows like “Shark Tank” and his appearances on financial media platforms demonstrates the influence that media can have on people’s financial decisions. Hasan called into question O'Learys integrity as an influencer who gives out financial advice, mentioning O'Leary's numerous misses on his investment choices one of those being FTX. Hasan even goes so far as to imply O'Leary may be a grifter. O'Leary dismissed Hasan's accusations of malintent, emphasizing that venture investing is risky and, investors lose their money. Sometimes it's alleged fraud, sometimes bad execution. But for whatever reason, 8 out of 10 times, you lose money.
