Thanks for that. Foam board is the way to go. I had to do mine with duct tape and cardboard, it came out pretty good for an insomniac project.

Made an insert for Super Fantasy: Ugly Snout Attack actually. Was a lot of fun and I still got a box of foamcore left for other projects. I did not give my insert a bottom or outer shell like you did. Instead I glued it into the original box. Works great and was necessary to fitting everything...

I could easily see myself using this for other games I have that have accumulated a lot of excess pieces.  As a tip, if you can get some legos or other similar blocks, you can make yourself a nice square frame to make sure that the angles where the foamboard meets are straight and nicely squared off.

Man, you are brilliant! Box organization is so necessary but great games don't always have ideal placeholders (I'm looking at you Android: Netrunner!)

this is great I need this.... since I've bought bunch of expansion now.... the foam you use, is that A3 format and 5mm thick

How did you decide on the width/depth of each of your trays and dividers?
