I uploaded this too use for a blogpost.

I took it from a full version of this movie that had been posted on youtube by another user. The audio in this video had been changed to avoid copyright flag. As a result the pitch is too high. I may re-upload a better version at some point.

What do you guys think: Should I upload a version of this with better audio? Is it worth risking a copyright strike?

since this was televised, I have to wonder just how close ol' Bruce came to pulling that kryptonite out of the safe.

I miss this Superman. The genuine "goody two-shoes" who keeps on fighting for the wellbeing of *_all, _* no matter how "naive" others think he is. I never cared how "cheesy" this kind of Superman is; we need him back.

"Dreams save us. Dreams lift us up and transform us into something better. And on my soul, I swear that until my dream of a world where dignity, honor and justice are the reality we all share, I'll never stop fighting. Ever."

Never ceases to give me chills and make my eyes water...

So basically, superman just pulled a "it's just a prank bro" on the world.

What WON me over with this is how EVEN Superman admits how easy your emotions can get the better of you. Emotions are powerful. However, if we ONLY use that as a power fuel sometimes what once was so good and pure, can turn dark and deadly. That’s why it’s important to remember how easy you can lose yourself into your emotions. Superman knows that. I remember how in Justice League where it was Superman birthday and Wonder Woman and Batman saw how Clark was implant with the ‘Black Mercy’. He was living the life HE always dream of. A life, a loving wife, a SON. And when Bruce’s voice echoed in his head he realized this wasn’t real. And how he had to tell his own ‘dream state’ like son how he wasn’t real. You can feel the emotion in his voice as he hugs him telling him he’ll never forget him. And you can hear the angry in his voice when he was released of the ‘Black Mercy’. We saw just how scary he can be when you push someone like that. Superman is a very kind, compassionate character. And he is this way because he lose so MUCH. If losing a love one is hard. Losing your home. Try losing your planet, your race. You are THE VERY LAST of your kind.

THIS was a plan that even BATMAN would be impressed with.

Getting slapped by superman is like getting slapped by a house.

As dumb as some of the plot elements were, this movie really sold me on Superman as a character. He stands for hope and compassion, but does so by showing the other characters (and the audience) why it's better than the alternative rather than just telling.

Seriously WHY is it so hard for the live action movies to write something like this for SUPERMAN. Seriously!

That moment when Superman turns your "ultimate achievement in life, battle to the death, show we are better than him" moment into essentially a publicity stunt and a moral PSA...

I've got to admit, this scene alone has made me respect Superman a lot more.

Dignity, Honor and Justice. I'd lay down my life for that.
