The formation of the Joplin, MO EF-5 tornado. This was filmed on the southwest side of Joplin right as the tornado touched down, intensified, and started to enter town.

Oh my God…..The speed in which that went from almost non existent to a terrifying monster! These guys captured history. One of the deadliest tornadoes in the history of humanity. These chasers in their wildest dreams would have never imagined they would capture something that would go on to kill 158 people. They are very fortunate to be alive.
