These are scenes of the aftermath of an EF-5 tornado that struck Joplin, Missouri, on May 22, 2011. The twister, with winds over 200mph, and a width up to a mile at some points, killed over 150 people and injured well-over a thousand people. Thousands of homes and buildings were damaged and destroyed. Thousands of vehicles were tossed, tumbled, and rolled. This was one of the most deadly and devastating single tornadoes in modern times.

the national & local broadcasts. WOULD like to know why the alerts scroll only has info for Missippi now. Mobile & NW Fla
Alerts used to be shown and haven't been shown for the last couple of months. Is the local NBC station or the national studio responsible for that alert?
