9:15 If you find a seelie statue and cant see the seelie use your "elemental sight" to see which direction the seelie is! (Elemental sight is explained in the story, mine triggers when i press the mouse wheel) :)

I have tried to get into Genshin Impact a total of two times in the past: I have an account on my PS4 and one on PC. This video is the best breakdown of this game I have gotten. The gacha, levelling, and pseudo-season system of Genshin is what confused me and this video made it so much more digestible. Thank you! :3

I did spend some money on trying to pull Ganyu (she's my favourite character from seeing pictures on reddit etc), but now I don't feel so bad about pulling Keqing on my 10th pull instead!

This video was very well done ! You explained everything very clearly and honestly, all these little mentions for us to be patient and that we're going to get there eventually really made the difference. I started playing a bit less than a month ago and seeing other players as well as facing my AR and world level rise without being able to actually win the challenges without a lot of help from food etc... it's going too fast for me since I've never played a game like Genshin before, and I got a bit discouraged to be honest. But your kind words really gave me hope again, so thank you !

/One thing i dont see mention enough tho: ALWAYS CHECK THE TEST TRIALS. If youre, say, ar 25, and you rolled for, lets say, , Gorou, you wont be able to use him until at least ar 30 when inazuma opens up. But doing the test trials will give you just enough to level him to lvl 40, which is sufficent enough to clear the ascension quest 1

This is an amazing guide, I just downloaded the game and felt really overwhelmed by the amount of stuff in this game. I am an Official "Old Geezer" who last played video games as a college student and young adult back in the '70s and '80s in video game arcades and on my trusty Atari 8-bit system using a trackball or a joystick. I've also played a very small number of the original DOS based DOOM and Castle Wolfenstein - that I primarily used a way to test graphics card setups back in the DOS days.

Now I have two teenaged granddaughters who *love* to play Genshin Impact - and I want to be able to share it with them, (at least to some extent), so that I can understand what they're doing and know enough to understand and celebrate their accomplishments with them.

However, even this video assumes at least _SOME_ background in relatively modern PC and/or game console video games, which I don't have.

My experience, and most of the apps on my PC's and smartphones/tablets, are engineering related and do things like testing WiFi signal strength, finding cell towers, monitoring networks, forensic data discovery, etc. etc. etc.

So, is there something for those of us, (like me), who have been hidden under a rock for the last 40 or so years, that will help bring us, (me), up to speed?
