Please pray with me for a friend who used to walk in holiness but maybe circumstances in her life pushed her far from the faith almost completely. She was such an inspiration to me and others but she has gone back to the world. Please pray with me for her 🛐

Amen bro amen. I backslid a few times. Ive been following Christ now for just over a year. I can confirm NO sinful pleasure is as pleasing as KNOWING you are on JESUS side. God thank you for forgiving me. Holy Spirit please help me to STAY on this NARROW path. In Jesus name, amen 🙏

I really feel sorry for christians who are depending on their on works for salvation, waking up every morning wondering if they are one sin away from hell smh 🤦 instead of trusting the blood of Jesus Christ

Or they were false converts, not true converts because the Bible says nobody can snatch Gods children out of His hand. We may get lost at times but God brings us back because He is gracious.

I used to believe I could lose my salvation and all that did was cause fear and confusion over the gospel of grace. It caused me to try to establish some of my own righteousness rather than trust completely in Jesus's finished work on the cross, which brings rest and peace. Christ is the end of the law to all those who believe. Romans ch10. I was partially trusting in my own behaviour or good works and partially in what Christ did for me. I trust in Christ alone for my salvation now and that once we receive the Holy Spirit we are sealed in God and cannot lose the free gift of salvation that Christ gives. The devil cannot pluck us out of the Father's hand. If someone continues in a life characterised by sin maybe they never received the gift of salvation to begin with or they are drifting away for a while and will be back.

The Bible also says, we are sealed til the day of redemption. I have a very hard time believing that there is anyone in Hell that has been saved.

28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

That means our salvation depends on us, not on Jesus. But he can tell us apart - those who are saved from those who are false witnesses and prophets.

A prodigal son is STILL a son, their last name doesn't change...a lost sheep is STILL a sheep, they don't turn into a Incorruptible means just that.... Of course, it's not God's best for them... But HOLY SPIRIT will lead .. ETERNAL LIFE IS JUST THAT! .... YES, JESUS'BLOOD IS POWERFUL, GOD'S GRACE IS TRULY AMAZING☝️☝️☝️

You need to be very careful with this concept of "losing" salvation. If it is up to the individual to keep or lose their salvation then you imply that salvation is earned by works. You also have to realize that there is no one "good" not even one. Only God himself has the power to protect salvation through Christ. We should live a good life in response to his love not in an attempt to earn it.

A born again believer cannot lose their salvation.

Brother, if you could lose your salvation you indeed would, everyday. When He said it is finished, He meant it is finished.
Salvation was never yours to begin with, therefore it's not yours to lose.
Gal. 3:1-3 O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.
Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith?
Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

God came to you in the first place, it was never about your purity, and it was always about him loving you through your sin and drawing you to the cross. Don't be religious, be grateful he loved you.

You dont understand what your talking about. This is the false Churches problem! The Bible says once we are saved we are sealed by the Holy Spirit forever. Gods Ellect Cannot I repeat cannot lose their salivation. Jesus didn’t die that horrid death for what your saying. Read Charles Spurgeon and Voddie bacham, Paul Washer.

A frequent question that is asked is "what happens if I sin, and then I die before I have an opportunity to confess that sin to God?" Another common question is "what happens if I commit a sin, but then forget about it and never remember to confess it to God?" Both of these questions rest on a faulty assumption. Salvation is not a matter of believers trying to confess and repent from every sin they commit before they die. Salvation is not based on whether a Christian has confessed and repented of every sin. Yes, we should confess our sins to God as soon as we are aware that we have sinned. However, we do not always need to be asking God for forgiveness. When we place our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, all of our sins are forgiven. That includes past, present, and future, big or small. Believers do not have to keep asking for forgiveness or repenting in order to have their sins forgiven. Jesus died to pay the penalty for all of our sins, and when they are forgiven, they are all forgiven (Colossians 1:14; Acts 10:43). What we are to do is confess our sins: "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). What this verse tells us to do is "confess" our sins to God. The word "confess" means "to agree with." When we confess our sins to God, we are agreeing with God that we were wrong, that we have sinned. God forgives us, through confession, on an ongoing basis because of the fact that He is "faithful and just." How is God "faithful and just"? He is faithful by forgiving sins, which He has promised to do for all those who receive Christ as Savior. He is just by applying Christ's payment for our sins, recognizing that the sins have indeed been atoned for. At the same time, 1 John 1:9 does indicate that somehow forgiveness is dependent on our confessing our sins to God. How does this work if all of our sins are forgiven the moment we receive Christ as Savior? It seems that what the apostle John is describing here is "relational" forgiveness. All of our sins are forgiven "positionally" the moment we receive Christ as Savior. This positional forgiveness guarantees our salvation and promise of an eternal home in heaven. When we stand before God after death, God will not deny us entrance into heaven because of our sins. That is positional forgiveness. The concept of relational forgiveness is based on the fact that when we sin, we offend God and grieve His Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). While God has ultimately forgiven us of the sins we commit, they still result in a blocking or hindrance in our relationship with God. A young boy who sins against his father is not cast out of the family. A godly father will forgive his children unconditionally. At the same time, a good relationship between father and son cannot be achieved until the relationship is restored. This can only occur when a child confesses his mistakes to his father and apologizes. That is why we confess our sins to God—not to maintain our salvation, but to bring ourselves back into close fellowship with the God who loves us and has already forgiven us.

You cannot lose your salvation once you have believed. Salvation is the gift God made and he who cannot lie shall keep it. If you think you can lose your salvation then you believe you're the one keeping it and you do not understand what Grace through faith means.

If salvation can be lost, then its not Christ who saves you, its your own faithfulness.

You cannot lose your salvation. You cannot lose what you never had to begin with.

Yes, "Once Saved always Saved"
If there's anything like "one losing their salvation" then they were never saved in the first place
And let's not forget that Salvation is by Grace through Faith alone - meaning we were chosen first, then the Holly Spirit worked in us, that's why we are called "a peculiar people"
We have to remember therefore that God does not make mistakes.
Read Ephesians 1 and 2
John Wesley was and still is an inspirational person, but let's not forget what the Bible says
Much love from Uganda 🇺🇬
